MDR 1-Year after Date of Application – Status update and initial experience

Any publication of a notification in respect to a Notified Body in accordance with the directives for active implantable medical devices 90/385/EC and medical devices 93/42/EEC became void on the 26th of May 2021 and the new legislative page of the medical device regulation EU MDR 2017/745 came into effect. Where do we stand after nearly 5 years from the date of publication of the regulation and 1 year after its implementation? During this session, we will discuss the status of implementation of the regulation, the readiness of all stakeholders and the foreseeable risks to the healthcare system in the EU.
